Another day and another HUGE derby, earlier in the week we watched the clash between 2 big teams near the top of the league, that was Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur, this weekend its Manchester City v Manchester United!

Now if anyone was desperate for points right now and feeling the pressure it has to be the once “position comfortable” Manchester United, I’m sure at one point during the last couple of months Fergie was probably grinning inside safe in the knowledge that he and his reds had secured yet another trophy in the cabinet, but Chelsea really have put the cat amongst the pigeons and given the devils a real run for their money…….

Currently 4th with a game in hand Manchester City may not have their minds on winning the league but they certainly don’t want to see Arsenal progress too far away from them so they certainly are just as points hungry as their bitter rivals United.

Notoriously the Manchester derby has always been a crowd pleaser and will definitely be one worth watching! would be interesting to see what you guys think as far as match predictions go so leave a comment below! but I get the feeling that City may just run away with this….. 2-1 to the home team maybe? just my guess!

1st vs 5th, and another huge game this Saturday! on paper Chelsea look the bookies favourites but as we all know this is football and it’s never as straight forward as that!

After the midweek game where Danny Rose put Arsenal to bed after that amazing volley, Spurs will be flying on the winds of success and go into this game safe in the knowledge that they really have been a huge force this season!

But former games might be in the back of the mind of manager and players alike where they lost some in recent weeks they really shouldn’t have.. Portsmouth and Sunderland for example!

Currently 4 points ahead of Manchester United and top of the league Chelsea should also be feeling confident of putting this one away, winning their last 3 games with relative ease and sitting pretty with some amazing players and pretty much injury free Ancelotti will no doubt take no chances with this game and throw out a strong team to try and bag this game.

Chelsea want to extend their reign at the top of the league, Spurs would like to get one step ahead of Manchester City…. its all to play for!

Originally planned for the 24th this match has now been bumped forward to this Saturday the 17th, not that it’s a bad thing mind you, many boxing fans are well up for this fight!

Carl Froch will be defending his WBC Super Middleweight title against Kessler which is set to take place in Denmark.

Froch on paper looks more likely to take this but Kessler in the ring is alot quicker according to some. Kessler lost out earlier in the year to Andre Ward, but on the other hand Froch has had some pretty scrappy performances himself of late.

The fight will take place around 10 pm UK time and likely to be broadcast on sky sports…somewhere!

Who’s gonna win it? would hate to say but it’s a Saturday Night clincher and I’m sure many will be looking forward to it!

With 3 races down and Formula 1 struggling to recover some kind of “action” which many fans have made clear they have yet to see so far this season, the teams move this weekend to a bustling Shanghai for the 4th race of the calendar.

While teams, drivers and many others in the background use their wit to try and work out how they can evade China’s ban on the website Twitter to communicate over the net, fans around the world will be trying to work out who’s race this is going to be! So far we’ve seen 3 different winners from 3 different teams.

The Shanghai international circuit will now be a pretty regular scene for most drivers on the track, since September 2004 this race has been a main part of the F1 schedule and has in the past provided some pretty good entertainment.

This location is also a favourite for the man himself Schumacher as he has held the lap record ever since that first race in Shanghai in 2004, stating this weekend that he is definitely NOT out of the running he will be keen to make an impact this weekend and try to get back into the winning ways that we’re all pretty much used to.
